I'm going to guess it's an A+. Probably 1098 or 1275.

Minispares intake, LCB header, and an HIF44.

Not having rubber is the least of it's problems. That's the top rad hose and the Radiator bracket.

It's a A series.

1293cc (bored out 1275).

It's not a A+, but your guesses for the intake, header and carb are all correct.

So I'm guessing it's a MKIII with an A-series?

What wheels are those, they look like some sort of XXR, but those are replicas of something probably. . .

Well those are...uh big. Don't think I've seen 18's on such a small car before. I could see this going either way, but props for doing what you want!

Yeah, it's a 76. Came from the factory with a 998cc. Previous owner put in the "tweaked" 1275.

They're not actually going on the car...It was just a opportunity to take a funny picture. The Mini rolls on 10s.

I think mine started as an '89.. At least the front/rear sub frames and power plant are from that year. Shell could be MK3, MK4? Who the hell knows.

and I think I have isolated the wiring harness into three different looms.

Fun!

Yeah, I started replacing the thermostat, and then things somehow progressed to a disc brake conversion.

Okay thank god. I was being extra polite and saying it could go either way, but what I really meant was fuck-to-the-no.

The Mini is mine, but the wheels belong to a friend. He's actually Oppo user pachood who posted above. He's going to be putting the wheels on his GTI.

Lots of people are putting it on their GT86s and the look really nice. They aren't expensive either!
